Design Studies is an interdisciplinary programme of modules taken by all design students at DJCAD at the University of Dundee. Its aim is to challenge students to think about design as a cultural and social force and to question its role and impact on people’s lives.
The focus of Design Studies is on the end user, the audience, rather than the designer.
Use the menu at the top of the page to find your way around. Many of the sections are aimed at students on the Level 2 modules but the blog and some of the tutorials will be of general interest.
